Reflexology

Reflexology is a method for activating the healing powers of the body. It is based on the long-established principle that there is an energy network throughout the body and there are reflex points in the feet and hands, representing major organs and glands which tie into this network. The reflexologist works on the feet and/or hands using prescribed, specific means to apply pressure and manipulations to access and activate key points. Although incorporating some massage techniques to warm and relax tissue, the application is different than and distinct from massage.
